The  D633-7398 A08KO4M0VMJ is a high-performance direct drive servo valve (DDV) with internal spool position electrical feedback for precise flow control in demanding hydraulic applications.

Operating Principle

The D633 series servo valve operates through closed-loop spool position control. An electrical signal corresponding to the desired spool position is input to the integrated circuit board, which converts it to a PWM current to drive the linear force motor. The oscillator excites the spool position sensor (LVDT) to produce an electrical signal proportional to spool displacement. The demodulated spool position signal is compared with the command signal, and the resulting error signal generates current in the force motor coil to move the spool to the specified position, reducing position error to zero. This results in spool displacement proportional to the command signal.

Important Technical Notes

  • The valve is a throttling device for flow control. When the spool position remains unchanged but the pressure drop across the throttling port changes (due to factors such as oil viscosity changes, system pressure changes or load pressure changes), the load flow through the valve will change accordingly.
  • Before installing the servo valve, the hydraulic system must be thoroughly cleaned.
  • The valve features 24V power supply integrated electronics board for reliable operation.
