This device features an integrated Safety Monitor and two AS-i masters, allowing it to manage two AS-i circuits from a single power supply. It is designed to meet the highest safety standards, achieving SIL 3, Cat. 4, and PLe. The BW1997 is equipped with a color display and push buttons for easy on-site diagnostics and addressing, a web server for remote diagnostics, and a chip card slot for simple device replacement by storing configuration data.
