It is engineered to drive I/P converters, electro-pneumatic valves, and positioners located in hazardous areas. This device provides a fully floating DC supply for energizing smart 2-wire transmitters and ensures a reliable and safe signal transmission from the safe area to the hazardous area. As part of the K-System, it features a slim, space-saving housing for high packing density on a DIN rail. Its SIL 2 rating makes it suitable for use in safety-instrumented systems, guaranteeing operational integrity in critical process control loops.
