The Allied Telesis AT-MC15 is a standalone media converter designed to connect 10BASE-T Ethernet networks with 10BASE-2 thin coaxial cable segments. This device provides a simple and cost-effective solution for extending the distance of a UTP-based network using existing coaxial infrastructure. Ideal for legacy network integration, the AT-MC15 is easy to install and features diagnostic LEDs for power and link status, which simplify troubleshooting. A switch-selectable Link Test function allows for easy verification of cable integrity, ensuring a stable connection between the different media types.
