The Tyco 713H (516.900.105) is a high-performance conventional heat detector designed for reliable fire detection in environments where smoke detectors may be unsuitable. It operates on a dual-sensing principle, utilizing both a rate-of-rise element and a fixed temperature element to ensure a fast and accurate response to fire conditions. The rate-of-rise function detects rapid increases in temperature, while the fixed temperature element triggers an alarm when the ambient temperature reaches a pre-set level of 77°C. This dual capability makes the 713H ideal for use in areas such as kitchens, boiler rooms, and loading docks where dust, fumes, or high humidity could cause false alarms with other detector types.
