The Sun Hydraulics PDTDF-MCN is a high-performance, vent-to-open, pilot-to-open check valve cartridge. This valve is designed to allow free flow from the valve port (port 2) to the load port (port 1) while blocking flow in the opposite direction. The blocked flow can be opened by applying pilot pressure at port 3. In its standard configuration, the valve’s pilot piston is vented to atmosphere through a filtered breather vent (port 4), making it insensitive to pressure at port 2. This design makes it an excellent choice for load-holding, load-locking, and counterbalancing applications requiring reliable performance and smooth operation.
