Product Description
Bender ISOEV425 Insulation monitoring device
The Bender isoEV425 is a specialized insulation monitoring device (IMD) engineered for AC electric vehicle charging stations (EVSE) operating in mode 3. It provides continuous monitoring of the insulation resistance between the electric vehicle’s high-voltage system (unearthed IT system) and the protective earth (PE) conductor. Designed in strict accordance with the IEC 61851-23 standard, the isoEV425 ensures maximum electrical safety during the charging process. It reliably detects both symmetrical and asymmetrical insulation faults, signaling any hazardous conditions to the charging controller via a PWM output signal. Its compact design and robust construction make it an ideal solution for integration into modern EV charging infrastructure, safeguarding users and equipment from electrical hazards.
Technical Specifications:
- Nominal System Voltage (U_n): AC 0…400 V, 50…60 Hz
- Application Standard: IEC 61851-23 for AC electric vehicle charging systems
- Response Value R_an: Adjustable from 100 kΩ to 1 MΩ (Factory setting: 240 kΩ)
- Output Signal: PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) for R_iso value and status
