The NEXT INSTRUMENT MCM-II is a high-performance, industrial-grade multi-axis motion controller module engineered for complex automation and robotic applications. Housed in a durable, ventilated metal chassis, this module provides precise and synchronized control for up to four separate motors. It features a comprehensive set of I/O, including a 16-channel sensor connector and four dedicated in-position (INPOS) inputs, allowing for sophisticated feedback and positioning. Communication is handled through dual CAN bus ports (CAN1, CAN2), ensuring reliable data exchange within a larger control system. The front panel offers at-a-glance system status via dedicated LEDs for module status (MS, NS), system sync (SY), and individual axis activity. Configuration is simplified with an onboard DIP switch, and a dedicated JOG interface allows for easy manual operation and setup.
