The SAMYUNG BWA-AU is a dedicated alarm unit designed as a core component for the SAMYUNG Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS). Engineered to enhance maritime safety and ensure compliance with IMO regulations, this unit monitors the awareness of the Officer of the Watch (OOW). It features an integrated audible alarm (buzzer) and a highly visible yellow acknowledgment (ACK) push button. When the BNWAS system enters an alarm stage, the BWA-AU emits a loud signal to alert the crew. The OOW can easily acknowledge the alert and reset the timer by pressing the ACK button. Housed in a robust black enclosure, the BWA-AU is designed for reliable performance on the ship’s bridge and in other required locations.
