1.Float level switch
①Advantages:

Easy to maintain. Widely used in shipbuilding, papermaking, printing, generator equipment, petrochemical industry, food industry, water treatment, electrical industry, dye industry, hydraulic machinery, etc.
②Disadvantages:
The float switch is a simple passive device and does not have a self-checking function, so it is recommended to check and maintain it regularly. The float or buoy level meter is a moving part, so it will be dirty when used in thicker or viscous liquids. The measurement accuracy is poor and it cannot work when the viscosity is <0.8mpa*s. There are requirements for the pressure, density and dielectric constant in the container, and the installation requires stopping production, cleaning the tank, opening holes, and starting fires.

2.Tuning fork level switch
①Advantages:

Its operation requires no calibration and allows for quick, straightforward installation. Additionally, the device features robust self-monitoring and diagnostic capabilities, guaranteeing dependable performance in both high and low-level detection applications.
②Disadvantages:
The tuning fork switch is not suitable for very viscous media. The accumulation of materials between the forks connected together will interfere with the level detection.

3.Capacitive liquid level switch
① Advantages:

② Disadvantages:
Difficult calibration, poor accuracy, dielectric constant needs to be >2, requirements for pressure, density, and dielectric constant in the container, installation requires production suspension, tank cleaning, hole opening, and fire.

4.External liquid level switch
① Advantages:
When measuring toxic, corrosive, pressurized, flammable, volatile, and leaky liquids, no valves, connecting pipes, or joints are used, there are no leaks, and the liquid and gas in the tank are not in contact, which is very safe. Even if the instrument is damaged or under repair, there is no possibility of leakage, poisoning, or explosion. There are no mechanical moving parts in the sensor and instrument, and they are strictly sealed and isolated from the outside world, without wear or corrosion. It can be widely used in petrochemical, chemical, oil depot, petroleum, electricity, liquid storage and transportation, medicine and other industries.
② Disadvantages
The material requirement for the tank body is that it cannot be a non-hard material. The installation requirements are high. The installation spacing of the measuring probes is about 1 meter, and there cannot be a weld between the two probes (that is, on the same steel plate).

5.RF admittance level switch
① Strong versatility:
It can measure liquid level and material level, meet the measurement requirements of different temperatures, pressures, and media, and can be used in harsh occasions such as corrosion and impact.

6. Rotary paddle level switch
(1) Advantages

7. Electronic liquid level switch
(1) Advantages: resistant to dirt, tilting, bumping, strong resistance to falling, salt spray, acid and alkali, not afraid of magnetic field, not afraid of metal body, not afraid of water pressure change, not afraid of light.
(2) Scope of application: clean water, various sewage, acid and alkali water, seawater, water treatment chemicals, river water, textile printing and dyeing water, industrial wastewater, also suitable for ship water level switch, etc.
8. Photoelectric liquid level switch
(1) Advantages: no mechanical moving parts, high reliability; small size, high cost performance; high liquid level control accuracy, good repeatability.
(2) Disadvantages: not suitable for frozen liquids and crystallized liquids.

9. Ultrasonic liquid level switch
(1) Advantages:
Ultrasonic liquid level meter is a non-contact measurement method. Ultrasonic liquid level meter measures corrosive (acid, alkali) media, polluted occasions, or substances that are prone to adhesion. Suitable for liquids that cannot be physically contacted.
(2) Disadvantages:
It is related to the viscosity of the measured medium; it is affected by temperature. When the temperature is high, the propagation speed will change, the instrument will react slowly, and the alarm will be delayed.
