The Atlona AT-OMNI-232 is a specialized Dante to RS-232 bridge designed for seamless integration within the OmniStream AV over IP ecosystem. This compact device provides a crucial link between a Dante-enabled audio network and devices controlled via serial commands. It effectively converts IP control commands, sent over the network from a control system, into RS-232 signals. This enables centralized management of displays, projectors, and other serially controlled equipment directly from the network. Powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet), the OMNI-232 simplifies installation by eliminating the need for a local AC outlet, making it an ideal solution for professional AV installations requiring reliable and flexible device control.
