Beckhoff BK3100
The Beckhoff BK3100 PROFIBUS Bus Coupler is a robust and efficient solution for connecting the Beckhoff Bus Terminal system to a PROFIBUS network. This “Compact” coupler functions as a slave on the PROFIBUS DP bus, automatically detecting the baud rate up to 12 Mbaud. It intelligently identifies all connected I/O terminals and generates a local process image, ensuring seamless data exchange between the fieldbus and the I/O modules. The BK3100 supports up to 64 Bus Terminals (expandable to 255 with a K-bus extension), making it a versatile and scalable component for a wide range of industrial automation and control applications.
