Bender VMD421H-D-3 ISOMETER® Insulation Monitoring Device
The Bender VMD421H-D-3 is a versatile and advanced ISOMETER® designed for insulation monitoring in unearthed AC, DC, and AC/DC systems (IT systems). It is particularly suited for complex applications involving variable-frequency drives, DC components, and battery systems, such as in electric vehicle charging stations (Mode 3 and Mode 4), industrial control circuits, and renewable energy installations. This device continuously monitors the insulation resistance to ground, providing early warnings of developing faults. It features two separately adjustable response values, an LC display for easy reading of measured values and device status, and an integrated data logger. The VMD421H-D-3 enhances operational safety and system availability by detecting insulation deterioration before it can lead to critical failures or downtime.
