The Rexroth R900438840 ZDR10VP5-31/315YM is a direct-operated 3-way pressure reducing valve, nominal size 10, designed for sandwich plate mounting. It is utilized in hydraulic systems to reduce an incoming system pressure to a lower, constant pressure at the consumer port (port A), irrespective of higher, fluctuating inlet pressures at port P. As a 3-way valve, it can relieve pressure from port A to the tank port (T) if the pressure in port A exceeds the set value, thus protecting the secondary circuit from overpressure. This model features internal pilot oil supply (from port P1) and external pilot oil return (to port T). Pressure adjustment is facilitated by a sleeve with a hexagon and protective cap.
