The Leuze MSI-TR1 is a high-performance safety relay designed for reliable standstill monitoring of three-phase asynchronous motors. It operates by measuring the remanence voltage of the motor windings, providing a safe signal when the motor has come to a complete stop. This functionality is crucial for applications requiring safe access to hazardous areas, such as unlocking guard doors or enabling maintenance procedures only after machine motion has ceased. The MSI-TR1 ensures high safety standards, complying with Category 4 and Performance Level e (PL e) according to EN ISO 13849-1.
