The Siemens 7ML52211BA11 is a SITRANS Probe LU, a 2-wire, loop-powered ultrasonic transmitter designed for continuous level, volume, and flow monitoring. It is ideal for applications involving liquids and slurries in storage vessels, simple process vessels, and open channels. This model features patented Sonic Intelligence® signal processing, which differentiates between true material level echoes and false echoes from obstructions or electrical noise, ensuring high reliability and accuracy. Its robust ETFE transducer and PBT enclosure provide resistance to chemicals, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial environments. The integrated HART communication allows for easy remote configuration and diagnostics.
