SUN DTDA-MCN
The SUN DTDA-MCN is a pilot-to-open check valve with a pilot-assist feature, commonly referred to as a counterbalance valve. It is designed to control overrunning loads by allowing free flow from the directional valve (port 2) to the load (port 1), while blocking flow in the opposite direction until sufficient pilot pressure is applied at port 3. This screw-in, cartridge-style valve provides smooth, stable, and reliable load control in demanding hydraulic applications, preventing load runaway and cavitation. Its primary function is to lock a load in position and control its motion when pressure is applied. The DTDA-MCN fits into a standard T-11A cavity, making it a versatile component for integration into custom hydraulic manifolds.
