Sun SCGALBN
The Sun SCGALBN is a high-performance, vent-to-atmosphere, pilot-operated, balanced poppet counterbalance valve. It is designed to control overrunning loads by allowing free flow from the directional valve (port 2) to the load (port 1) while blocking flow in the opposite direction. The pilot-to-open function allows for controlled motion from port 1 to port 2. The key feature of the SCGALBN is its vent-to-atmosphere pilot (port 4), which ensures that the valve’s setting is unaffected by back-pressure at port 2, providing stable and predictable performance in demanding hydraulic circuits. This cartridge valve is ideal for applications requiring precise load holding and motion control.
