This device features a passive transistor output and integrated line fault detection (LFD) to monitor for short-circuits or lead breakages in the field circuit, ensuring system reliability. With a SIL 2 rating according to IEC 61508, it is suitable for use in safety-instrumented systems. The unit is easily mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail and can be powered via the Power Rail system for simplified wiring and installation.
