The Beckhoff EL9187 is an EtherCAT potential distribution terminal designed to simplify power management within an I/O station. This terminal eliminates the need for additional terminal blocks within the control cabinet, reducing wiring complexity and saving space. The EL9187 is a passive terminal, meaning it does not have a process data image in the controller, serving purely as a power distribution hub within the EtherCAT terminal block.
