Beckhoff EK1501 EtherCAT Coupler

The Beckhoff EK1501 EtherCAT Coupler serves as the crucial link between an EtherCAT network and the EtherCAT Terminals (ELxxxx/ESxxxx). This high-performance coupler converts the passing telegrams from Ethernet 100BASE-FX (fiber optic) to the E-bus signal representation. A station consists of a coupler and any number of EtherCAT Terminals that are automatically detected and individually addressed. The EK1501 features two SC duplex sockets, allowing for the creation of a line topology with other EtherCAT devices. Its use of fiber optic technology makes it ideal for applications requiring long-distance data transmission up to 2 km and high immunity to electrical interference.
